Why Redo a Fireplace Front?

There are two common reasons to redo the facing of your fireplace:

  • Aesthetic Purposes: Sometimes a fireplace front is swapped out for aesthetic reasons, as a homeowner feels their fireplace is badly in need of a facelift or update. In these cases, we are happy to help conceptualize design ideas for a particular space. Whatever style or design aesthetic you lean towards, we can make your vision a reality.
  • Sizing Requirements: Other times a fireplace front needs remodeling because changes have been made to the fireplace. If, for example, a different type or size of stove or fireplace insert has been installed, or if the firebox has been rebuilt to meet safety standards, then the front may need to be modified accordingly.
